View attachment 207537Mason pal, Cody found these while turkey hunting the other day. He brought them to our house last night for Krista to fix along with steaks. Another of Masons pals joined us for the feast. Spring is grand.

Mason took Cody turkey hunting this morning. No shots fired. So they went to the area he found the mushrooms the other day and picked some more.

Neighbor Cliff picked 172 today. He had 150 acres logged and found them in the disturbed areas as well as where he usually finds some.

Southern OH is on fire if you can beat the blue pant army there. We Also found about 2 doz or so in coshcoton co.

Spent a half hour or so picking these. It’s been a good spot for years. I checked it a week or ten days ago and found some just breaking ground. They were big enough today.

These pop up in a little section of the woods at our house every year. Mason checked the spot a couple weeks ago and they were tiny. About the size of a red oak acorn. He picked them today. I look forward to this patch every year. It’s probably been ten years since I first found them.
