Sayin may have played the best, most underwhelming game we've seen from an OSU QB in as long as I can remember. The thing that I'm most impressed with is the lack of mistakes. That's been my #1 beef as a fan for years is our undisciplined play in big games. That was as clean a game as we could have had minus a couple drops and a false start.
I watched some high-level defensive breakdowns of their scheme yesterday and it made me like the hiring of Patricia even more. With the talent and athleticism we have, and now super complex schemes they executed well, this could be the best D of all time. Downs and Styles are great leaders, so I'm excited to see how they develop over the next 3 months.
Can't ask for much more the day after that game!
