A husband comes home from work ,dinners not ready.he finds his wife talking to her mom on the phone , he asks where’s dinner? She replies she hasn’t started it yet , he’s upset explaining he has worked hard and is hungry , wife says that’s too bad , the husband tells the wife if dinners not ready in 5 minutes she won’t see him for 3 days . 3 days later she could open an eye

I've read 50 jokes on here over the years about how the husband was the one waking up or opening his eyes. I don't see a difference here. I joke with my wife and kids all the time about beating them. They know it's a joke. Hell, I just spent the weekend telling other people's kids I was gonna beat them. It was funny, still is.

I think the difference here is that everyone knows me and how I talk. Probably just a little premature for Josh. Something hims wife is probably used to too
