After shooting a few years and then on the triple crown legs i noticed a pattern to the target sets and this worked out the best. you could expect nelsonville to be the longest set you shoot being the last leg of the crown. the local shoots were doing the same things also. for hunting i go 25 minimum to start...worlds was a new ball game and eye opener especially in snowshoe...learned about 3rd axis the hard was...That is exactly what would throw me for a loop. I am so familiar with thinking "More than 30, less than 40, split 'em" or something along those lines that I just couldn't function otherwise...and can't for the life of me figure out why I would try to change what has always worked. I understand Milo's thoughts on the matter, but I don't focus on a pin anyway. My anchor in theory should be the same due to using the housing vs a pin. I suppose that would change if I were a fan of moveable sights, but I am not due to altering anchors. Whatever works for the shooter I suppose, and I know Milo's way works for him!
Very nice JBrown

THere is a shoot tomorrow at Lone Eagle Just south of canton if anyone is interested! Very nice club with a great shoot. They also have great food....THats a must for me when I go to bow shoots...Just sayin.
you can get directions off bowsite. Im gonig around 1230
Had a great time at Lone Eagle today with Zach and his buddy Jamie (or Jamey, however the fugg it's spelled lol). It was a great course to shoot, with some challenging targets and terrain. The food was excellent too, which was my favorite part of the day. I shot an ugly 281 and Zach showed me how it's supposed to be done with a 304 or 305. I really turned it on during the last ten targets, though... Should've done much better I think.
Was a good time for sure. Lone eagle has a great course, and as you stated......AWESOEM FOOD. I rate a club off of how their food is presented...and this place is top notch. haha
8s will kill ya everytime....If a person can focus and concentrate on the target, their 8s will slowly start to go away. I had 4 8s....Which is unacceptable for the upcoming triple crowns....One of which was just a yardage error and the other 3 were just bad shots....
I think if you get your peep straightened around your ups and downs will dissapear jim. I would go with a 3/16....I think thats what I shoot! But you shot well...Like you said...the last ten you tore em up....the last ten you had 6 11s. Which is awesome. we will deff have to do it again.
