I will start by saying I don’t know the market and neither does this guy, so we came up with a number of $700. (Figured the gun will cost you $425-450, scope is $300-400)

Ruger American chambered in 450. Topped with the leupold VX-Freedom 3x9x40 in 450.

He’s buying another house and just trying to thin the herd a little bit. He already has one and picked this one up today in a trade. Open to offers and if you PM me, I’ll send him your number. I’ll post once this is sold. I’m not real sure how aggressive he wants to sell it, but he asked me if I knew anyone looking. So I told him I’d post it.

Alright, I just did the math on what I have into mine with this same scope. I still need to buy rings and I’m into mine for $803.67 after taxes and everything. So this isn’t a great deal, but you still couldn’t build it for $700.

This is basically all new stuff. Guy bought it, sighted it in, shot a deer and then traded it. I know the guy he got it from and I’ve bought stuff from both.

I’ll talk with him tonight after work and see if this is the 16 or 18” model. I’ll also update any other info he tells me.

You have an FFL? I haven’t ever seen the scope for under $280 or the gun under $425 and I kept my eye out for a while before buying.

Just have to shop around man... and not just buy this stuff as soon as it comes out I can get somethings at manufacturers cost... I stay away from Cabela’s and bass pro stores like that because there gun prices are jacked

450 s will go down in price more because the 350 is getting more popularity it’s just like cars they mass produce so when they don’t sell they lower and lower the price

I went and looked at a few .350s this weekend and pulled the trigger on a Ruger American for 499. The dealer said lot of people are trading in their .450s for .350 now that the gun season is over so that may effect the pricing a bit on a used .450 but I’d say that’s a good used price for the combo Giles!
