None the less here's some more pics from his costume show today makes me happy everything these two kids succeed in , I hope they enjoy their childhood to the fullest and can manage to block out all the bs surrounding kiddos these days!

Well, Premiere it is! She'll be the first kid in the sale ring tomorrow. For those not familiar with 4H market animals, Premiere Exhibitor goes to the kid with the highest composite score between Skillathon (knowledge demonstration), Showmanship (hands on with the animal), and Market (meat condition of the animal consistent with the breed). So it's a fairly prestigious award in the scheme of things. Pretty proud of her to say the least!

What a three day tornado

Between multiple sports games among our three kids we got 2 pens (6 chickens), 1 standard cock and 1 pen of 3 meat rabbits checked in and settled at the fair.

Sunday was poultry day.
5th in standard showmanship
3rd in Meat broiler showmanship
Below 10th for the two meat pens

Today was rabbits
1st in Jr Showmanship
Her pen didn't place in her class.

Thursday we sell the two pens of meat broilers.
Saturday is dog day with obedience, rally and agility.

Box stalls are 75% complete, just have headers and barn wall boards to install. Oldest 2 have decided on feeder calfs for projects next year, hogs as a backup for Ty and Myles choosing fishing for his backup. 40' Cushman's Round Pen is on the radar for a close, safe area for breaking/tie out/washing/etc. View attachment 201257
Let me know if Myles needs any pointers
