Jesse- No doubt about it. I've called it being fortunate or blessed. I have called it lucky. I suppose it is a combination of luck and good blessings. I have never claimed to be good, but I would rather be lucky than good anyday. lmao

There are many on here who put in many hours and hunt smart and hard. Some connect while others don't. Some things you just find a logical explanation. If I had an answer or advice I could share which would bring all the TOOzers an advantage, I would offer it. I simply don't have that answer. I am not that good. I am simply. . .lucky. :smiley_breakdance:

Awesome job, Brotha! Loved the story and a much well deserved deer. Good karma to a good man, IMO.
Hope your Dad the best with his heart situation. Great job Buddy!

Can't believe I forgot the obligatory "Pose with arms outstretched as far as you can" photo. I did this one just for you guys on TOO!

Awesome buck and even better story. I do like the fact that this site is the place to go to tell your stories to some friends. I'm a newbie and an out-of-stater and whenever I post anything I get answers and responses as though I were a lifelong friend. Hope all is well with your Dad and your family.

Some of the best friends you've never met could come from this forum. lmao

Thank you again everyone. For the virtual high fives, and more so for the thoughts and prayers for my Dad.

Nice job hunting and writing Phil. That is one impressive rack of antlers on that buck. You did (and do) make me proud. I wondered what you shot it with, and reading this thread answered that question. I also want to thank everyone here for the positive vibes and prayers you sent my way. I am home and doing just fine, hoping for a fast recovery. I'm heading now for my mountain dulcimer to play some Christmas songs for my own personal therapy, and play them for others to enjoy in the days to come.
