Looks like my buck is close to being done. Been shed hunting recently. Mixed success. More walking than finding. Finally walked half the property I killed my 2013 buck on today. Found two small sheds but that is not the exciting part. Pulled two dead cameras. One had been there since August 24 and died February 22. On the two cameras were some pictures of my buck and also my buddy's buck. Pretty cool. Sorta felt like a kid at Christmas getting the best gift ever and being caught off guard. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I couldn't be more excited right now. Going to try to see how they look blown up in 8x10's.

Those are two very cool pictures Phil! I'd maybe blow one or both up to 11x14 maybe. Congrats on catching him on camera again. How far were these cameras from where you killed him?

Same property. Unknown exact distance. Under 1000 yds I would say.

Thanks guys. Definitely a nice little bonus. Didn't expect to see these. Pretty cool.

Phil,

Which picture is your favorite? I need to know...don't ask why

I like the one with additional sunlight on the coat as I think it is really pretty. I probably like the one with less sunlight but showing his face more the best though. The vein showing on his face and better display of the rack are pretty cool. Wish the sun was as bright on his whole body in the second picture (second posted but actually first if you look at the time stamp) like it was in the first one. That would have been perfect. Either way though, they are both great pictures in my opinion. Timestamp 8:52 38 is probably my favorite of the two.

Awesome Phil! That's cool that you received those pics on your cameras. I agree with your choice between the two pics. Looking forward to seeing your mount when you get it back.
