This is so sad, yet it happens every year... So please be careful when at camp and you guys that sleep in your trucks during these get-togethers, if your running your motor to get heat, leave a window cracked or better yet don't run your motor while sleeping..

Seems every year you hear about a few of these.....

Yes it is. We used a ventless stove last year in the camper. Left the window open plus we ran 2 CO detectors. We have a direct vent in the cabin along with the wood stove, so I sleep so much better.

Many years ago I lost a cousin to such a thing. Her and her boyfriend started the car to get warm. Both fell asleep after it did get warm.... Both were gone when found.

Couple years ago a Highway patrolman ready to retire used a generator in his basement and he and his wife were fund dead next day.
The silent killer it is.
