OK Taylor, I found this for you. Hope this helps some.

Greetings!
There is a dead squirrel under my car where it's been parked since I got home last night... I noticed it this afternoon while sitting on the porch. My and my babies went to investigate and it didn't appear to be squashed as if I ran it over....?! Sooooo.... I'm wondering what the symbology behind it could be...?
Thank you so much!

That's what I would call a "temporary totem" or an animal messenger, which is an animal that serves the role of delivering a message, rather than being an "omen". When an animal, dead or living, catches your attention in some way it often holds meaning for the person who saw the creature. Dogs deal with loyalty, faithfulness, service, friendship, and other descriptives. I would take a guess that there's an area of your girlfriends life where she either has, or needs to, allow some aspect of herself to "die" out. Perhaps she's too loyal to a crappy job and needs to move on. Maybe it's time to end a damaging friendship or she is about to be blind sided by a big change in a relationship (if the dog seemed to have been hit by a car). Compare the aspects of the experience against what it might mean within her life. Dogs get hit all the time; why did THIS dog stand out in her mind??? Her subconscious will know, but may just need a kick to get things moving in the direction of right action.

Now the squirrel on the other hand means this:

Gathering, Activity, Preparedness

The gathering power of Squirrel is a great gift.
It teaches us balance within the circle of gathering and giving out.
They remind us that in our quest for our goals,
it is vital to make time for play and socializing.

Squirrel teaches us to conserve our energy for times of need.
If your totem is Squirrel or Squirrel has recently entered your life,
lighten your load of things that are unnecessary –
things that you have gathered in the past and may be cluttering your life –
thoughts, worries, and stresses.

Squirrel is also the totem of action.
Ask yourself are you too active, not active enough, afraid of enough,
hung up on accumulating and collecting.
Squirrel people tend to be a little erratic – trying to do many things at once.
Take the time to stop and listen to your inner self – and don’t forget to play!

Here's a thought - go to her in a deferential and respectful manner and ask - just ask whatever you want to know.
Ask her to teach/guide/help you understand what she's trying to communicate.

She's the only one who can help you.

If it were me, I would just pray for her, pray for my protection (and my family), be a peaceful neighbor and try not to worry about figuring out what spell she's working on or whatever the heck it is she's doing because a) knowing wont do you much good anyway and b) probably the only person who it's going to make sense to is her. Sounds like she might be a few fries short of a happy meal.

If things get out of hand with her leaving presents or my kids started having to see that crap, I'd have to consider whether it was time call the law and have them deal with her.

According to the movie Skeleton Key, voodoo witchcraft only works if the person being targeted "believes" it's real! BTW, awesome movie I might add!

Too late now but I'd say you lost a pretty tasty helping of squirrel and gravy and sweet taters!

Going out on a limb here............

Perhaps the real meaning is the squirrel clan likely found out about the relationship you were having with said squirrel and have decided to make an example of her to keep other squirrels from having sexual relations with humans?!?!
