My brother and I went to Kiser Lake this morning and got on the water around 9 a.m. This lake has an excellent atmosphere/surroundings and whether you catch anything or not, it's a great time on the water. :smiley_bril: Deer wading out into the water eating water plants, ospreys and eagles flying around catching fish, frogs and turtles sitting on logs and lilly pads and no motorized watercrafts to disturb any of it.
I didn't catch as many fish, as I usually do, but caught a few and had a great time. :smiley_blink: 5 lg. mouth bass and 1 white crappie (10 1/2"). I have yet to catch one of those stripers...maybe some day. :smiley_depressive:
