I'm planning on starting a thread on Japanees Knotweed this spring as the excavation work I had done this summer spread a shitton of rhizomes all over the worksite and it sprouted just prior to fall die-off. I had about 20 acres of that crap and within 3 years had eradticated it from all but 4-5 where I couldn't reach it.

This is a great thread. Thanks for all of the information. We have AO, im sure honysuckle, Japanese barberry, and the forester just told us this year oriental bittersweet. Going to be a lotta long hard work but we started with some AO last year and will be tackling the bittersweet 1st since it seems more devastating to the current forest trees. I will definitely be calling the nrcs rep for licking co.

here is am article i saw today i thought people would find interesting

So once you get this stuff all sprayed down, then what? Just wait for it to naturally grow up? Can you broadcast things to encourage growth? Select cut to open up the canopy? My place looks like 100% shit and I don't like it.
