I wonder what kind of tax break or incentive these company’s are getting offered to do this. Something is going on to force them to do this.

$&@!#% that’s where I buy my ammo!!!! WTF! Where else in Athens am I going to go without getting raped!?!

Support your local mom and pop that wal-mart has tried to drive out of business. Yes their prices are a higher but they are the ones that have your back. They are the ones that will be there when giant corporations cut your throat because it's the popular thing to do. The $5 dollars more on a box will do way more good than the $20 you would give Walmart.

Back on topic, the only good thing about Walmart selling ammo is, every once in awhile you got it dirt cheap. I remember looking for 20 gauge Remington Sluggers before gun season and couldn't find them on my side of town. Took a shot and found them at Walmart and at a good price to boot. Oh well, fuggem.

Yup...first time I was in Walmart in along time was Monday (Labor Day) at 8:00 at night after I decided at dinner that I was gonna take my boys squirrel hunting. Box of 100 rounds for $21. I’ll just need to plan a little better next time. No big deal.
