I have seen and used one and it won't pull the 18" ones without digging them up a little. I just dig them up, that's one less thing I gotta carry.
Use your shovel and wrap the chain around the handle. Pry up with the shovel. Keep doing it till it pops out.
I have heard and am still hearing a lot of bad things about the Berkshires. That was the main reason I went with the Wolf Fangs. I love them and they are super tough and have never had any issues with them. I am going to buy just the Wolf Fang anchor and make my own. I have a spool of 1/8" cable and bought the ferrules to make them. If any of you guys want me to make you some up just get two dozen Wolf Fang anchors and I will keep a dozen and make you a dozen 12" cable stakes. Pm me if interested.
My buddies had also had problems with the anchors bending. That's why they switched to the Wolf Fangs. The picture definitely shows faulty workmanship. I'm glad it didn't cost ya a trap and a yote.
Looked at a fleshing knife but man those things are expensive lol. Couldn't even think about a fleshing beam. Could always look at some and make your own or just get an old ironing board lol.
Nothing on my check this morning, except my frozen coon was moved about four feet. Must be the Grinners.
