Annual TOO Strouds Hunt - October 21-23, 2016

She made a FB post complaining about them, talking about them "getting brave". I told her I knew some guys...lol. I won't publicly post the address, but it should be fun. Should have some chances at some long shots.

Property owners are some real good people. Old school folks from the hills. Momma wears a dress all year around with boots. My kinda peoples. I've hunted the property for over 20 years.

I don't know if I can make it there this year. Already had plans made back in June for another gig with my deer camp buddies. We are setting up at Traders Day in Reinersville for the weekend. I may try to come out to Strouds Saturday night for a while? We will see?

I just got some of us permission on a property I hunt by Strouds to do some coyote pounding... anyone interested in bringing some shovels to dig in ?

That could be fun TOO! Not sure how to drive this property for coyotes though. We never kick any up during deer drives. They own mostly ridge tops.

I can do a leg. Not sure how it will turn out as the are pretty lean and I think it would get dry.

Kind of the idea I had too. Smoke it up to 120 or so, then finish in a braise.
