Another reason to always carry zip ties

I went to move a Cell Link setup yesterday and those little piddly bungee cords they give you with trail cams almost bit me in the rear. I thought I had a bigger bungee in my pack but I must have used it on another camera. The tree where I needed to hang was too big for the little cord. The one thing I remembered I had...zip ties. I carry them in my pack for attaching temp tags to deer. I looped several together, and was able to make the small cord reach.

I have 2 out right now with zip ties, but I link them together by running the end of one a few clicks through the head of the next. You'll use a lot less like that. But I'm with ya man, zip ties are a must in every pack!

Zip ties is one of the greatest inventions and I always keep them in backpacks, range bag, tool bag, truck, laying around the workshop. They are always the handiest things to have within reach, much like ductape if not more...

All of our cameras have little rubber roofs on them held in place with.....wait for it.....zip ties........ Use them for so many things including attaching leafy branches to stands, straps on trees, you name it. Must have in the back pack.

I never do anymore. The fuggin keys always get lost. And if someone wants to steal, they’re gonna steal. Instead I just choose to do a better job placing my cameras where they go unnoticed.

Ain’t no where safe, unless you have it somewhere that it’s most likey never found. Then it’s just a gamble if an ethical hunter walks by it.
I will say, the cellular cams walk less cause they know you have a pic and you can track the cam on most models if it’s turned on.
