I did I think skip makes some great points. Ohio truly could be as good as Iowa if only a few of his points were implemented.

I dont feel like the sportsmans counsel has any desire to change things. An unrefuted reality is Ohio has some very different issues in different areas. Herd density in seOH no longer appears to be an issue following EHD. Limits likely to be changed. License costs have gone up. Even the big collateral PA Sunday law change will have an effect. But the heavy hitters of baiting- crossbows-cell cams.......even drones (which can legally be used for scouting right now) remain taboo to alter

I know we've debated what a high quality hunting experience is defined as and cannot come to an agreement. However i think we can agree that the direction the ODNR has taken doesn't seem to fit the goals of ANY high quality experience. Look at the (in)action on regards to the grouse population and other species, it's maddening, sad and frustrating.
