Spent Saturday with a friend of mine redoing a porch roof some hack contractor put on my mom's house. Spent the rest of my time tracking down family to add to the family tree. Turned up a few surprises and some interesting information. Worked with my cousin who lives in Colorado on that project. I ended the weekend with talking to a distant relative in Tennessee. Wasn't the TOO outing but it was still a fun weekend.

I’m bored. Basically done all my inside projects and I’ve found myself in front of the TV watching Sherlock Holmes 
. TV series from BBC and I must say it’s pretty good. 1.5 hour shows. Never reading the books as a kid, makes it extra enjoyable for me. Until my wife walks in a ruins it all within minutes of sitting down

Anyone have a clue of a place I could get some real smoked sausage? That red stuff you find in the south, not this major box store stuff you find anywhere. Looking for something with some flavor for this weekend. I’d entertain anywhere in the west side of the state.

I see southern style listed...called mom (she works there) so we will see in a few days. They also make braut patties that are simply amazing. Some of the best chorizo I’ve ever bought as well. Sounds like I just filled a cooler!

I will be this weekend. My mom is the little Mexican lady that’s usually in the booth at IGA/Frobose. She hasn’t worked a bunch since dad got sick, but she worked there for a few years.
They have some damn good grub.
