Nice archaic side notch. One of the best hobbies to get kids into. Good exercise and just being outside. Thats awesome. Hell remember that always.

He found this broken blunt tip a few minutes later. We only looked 20-30 minutes. He found these about 70-80 yards from where he killed his first deer back in December. I think the last time I looked for points there was 7-8 years ago with Dad.

Looks like a hafted scraper. Theyll take a broken point and work it into a scraper. Unlike the scraper he found in other pic wich is hand held that type would have a handle. Looks like you guys have a good spot to hunt. Love huntiing artifacts, never know what youll find.

Heres the 3\4 groove stone ax i found on hoover about 5 yrs ago. Best stone piece i found and to make it even better my youngest was hunting with me and he found his first piece, a spear point missing the base. After we celebrated his first find took about 20 steps and found this thing. Found other ones and celts and chisels, but this one is so polished and smooth. One of my favorite artifacts ive found

Pretty good day for sure. Two spots that we've never stepped foot on paid off. Some scrapers, busted tools, points, and some type of a smoothed out badin or something. Still trying to figure it out. Maybe Giles will impart his wisdom as to what it might be.
