As my wife says...Gun Porn!

Well, I promised good pics and you are just getting regular pics. It is blowing hard and pissing rain. Ground can't take much more. Here she is....and she's "Savage". Next up is a semi-auto in the same caliber.

Well don't leave out the particulars....
Savage 10ba Stealth (MDT one piece aluminum chasis)

Burris XTR rings

Harris Bipod (waiting on the Atlas)

Luth AR MBA-3 stock

AICS mags

Athlon 6-24x50 illuminated reticle (testing and so far it is bad ass, especially in value)

I have a Vortex Viper 6-24x50 in the safe for it but I have a feeling this is going to stay on it.

Accuracy from this rig is yet to be determined but I expect a 1/2" or better at 100 with my handloads. I pretty much expect that from factory ammo. Should know soon enough.

Did you build it or buy it already assembled? Minus the optics of course...

Just added the stock, accesories and checked the barrel/bolt face interaction (factory trued and blueprinted).

I could do this as a complete build as rifles in a chasis are REALLY easy if the bolt/barrel are close. But it was SO much cheaper getting it straight from the factory.

Chassis with nothing on it (buffer, stock, action or barrel), just the piece of aluminum is $400. It would have been $500 more to do it myself from buying seperate.

Cheaper to build an AR but not the case for bolt rifles in most cases.

I'll bring it to the summer shoot. You guys will shit when you see this scope up against ones triple the cost. Vortex has some competition from me now.
