I'm a little late to the party. When my Polaris brakes "hang up" I simply put the bike in reverse and jam on the brakes. That typically frees up my stuck caliper.
Its never been more than that.

Nothing a 4" cut-off wheel can't take care of Dan.
If wanting to go the nondestructive route, how about locking pliers on the outside of the head.
Or, find a 12pt socket slightly smaller than the head OD and pound that bad boy on. You'll cut lands into the screw head.
Gallon jug with a spray bottle: $30 at auto parts store or Tractor Supply. A gallon lasts us a couple years. It would last a home owner a life time. LolPB Blaster is the shit!

Yeah flutie, I'm thinking that if I can somehow get those brake shoes to retract it should slide right off. I have no idea why they have those threads in there. Fucking shit. gonna poke some screwdrivers thru those holes and start prying tonite.
