I am not happy at all. :tantrum:

I just went and ordered my scope rings and according to their site the item was IN STOCK so I went ahead and placed my order.

THEN my e-mail conformation

The e-mail shows what I ordered and all of a sudden the scope rings that I just ordered because they had them in stock are magically on BACK ORDER now :smiley_boos:

This pisses me off and I won't order anything from their site EVER again.

Had this happen to me too with a case for my new fly rod and reel. The site said it was in stock but when I ordered it was on back order. The only reason I went through with the order was because I had $25 in gift cards from there.

RedCloud,
I've stopped shopping at, going to and ordering from BPS, due to poor customer service and a severe lack of items in stock. :smiley_arrogant:

There are too many other places to order the things that I need/want. Recently, I was shopping for a kayak and found that Cabelas has more kayaks inside their building, than BPS has on their entire property. Even so, Cabelas' prices were over the rainbow and I found the selection and decent prices of kayaks to be the best at Dunham's Sports.

I've also found BPS to have higher prices on guns and ammo too. Sportsman's Den, in Shelby, has consistantly beat most other gun shops...especially the larger chain stores. TNT Firearms, in Findlay, has always been willing to work with me on gun purchases and/or trades.

Like Jackalope said, I'd cancel my order and let them know why. There are too many options for anyone to have to tolerate poor service and/or high prices.

Good hunting, Bowhunter57

Midway has done it more than once. Just in time ordering/manufacturing is the culprit for this. Nobody wants to keep product on the shelves/warehouses for more than one reason including taxes.

It sucks but it wasn't all to bad. Got my case in today, the wait was probably about 2 weeks longer than it would have been had they had it in stock. Just sucks that they can't update their system to be real time when things are out of stock it shows up on the web.

Oh that's bad....That's like putting a casino across the street from a gambling addict or putting a strip club across the street from Jackalope lmao

HEY... I don't like strippers anymore.. You pay them to shake their boobs infront of your face.. And end up going home with nothing but a wallet that's 200 bucks lighter...

Escorts Adam... Escorts... Much more "bang" for the buck.. And you don't even have to leave the house. ;)

I have never had any problems ordering from BPS. Don't order that much but figure I have just been lucky.

Sounds like you have been lucky lol.

I seen it was in stock, ordered it, got e-mail saying it was on backorder, went back to the site and was still showing in stock, refreshed the page 3x before it finally showed out of stock lol.
