Ask your insurance company. That wasn't really the point. You can sleep on pile of broken bricks if you want. Life choices, yours to make.
The point is that a restful sleep is important to our health, just like eating well even though your health care insurance does not pay for your groceries.

Might it be because we don't have actual HEALTHcare in this country? But that's a totally differing discussion. Read the book American sickness for further info.
Health insurance is a fraud in many ways.
We've helped relatives with medical bills in another country and I can tell you that procedures there cost less than my dog's vet bills.
The issue, in my opinion, with health insurance is that we use it far too much. This allows for the huge costs we see now, both for insurance coverage and for medical services.
If we only used health insurance like we do auto, property and umbrella it would make more sense.
We don't make claims against our property policies when a few shingles get blown off the roof in a storm. Yet, every single interaction with any health care entity gets run through insurance. That allows them to jack up the price and then come to an agreement with the insurer on what they are willing to pay.
If we paid for basic services out of pocket we could determine what we are willing to pay and we could treat healthcare like any other market based service. This would limit cost on both sides of the equation. Of course the genie is out of the bottle now.
The absolute last thing we need in this country is a socialist system where the gubmint pays for our health care. If you think it's bad now, just wait.

Out with the old, and in with the new. Our Sealy Posturepedic has seen better days after 18 years of use. Being a light sleeper with a wife that snores, means we haven't slept together much in the four years (it got really bad when she was pregnant with our youngest). Since Labor Day, I've had some rough days with my lower back and right hip, which my chiropractor attributes to among other things, a "hollowed out" bed. As a result, we finally pulled the trigger last Sunday. We ended up with a split king (two twin XLs) Nectar Luxe Memory Foam Mattress with their headboard and the dual adjustable frame. It's a pretty sweet setup by every measure, including the most important: comfort. Tonight will be the first sleep, so I'm hoping it sells itself on the first night. They had an incredible deal going, so we ended up with a $10K MSRP bed for $4K, with 18-months no interest. That deal alone will make it easier to sleep at night!

Bought a Nectar about six months ago and love it! Thought it was going to be soft because of foam but really nice and firm which i like.

We are very pleased with the purchase. For the most part, the ability to elevate the head of the bed has helped the wife's snoring, and the firmer mattress has helped my back. I love having the bed elevated for reading and use the massage feature for 10 minutes every night after I settle in for sleep. It's more of a vibration than a massage, but it does have an odd calming effect. Definitely no buyer's remorse at this point.
