Beentowns hunting log...

Here's the strategy Beener... on shitty days when you can't hunt, offer to take the kids out of mom's hair. Tit for tat... sometimes it works.

I usually try to clean up around the house a little more than usual too. Then I tie her ass up and spank her! :pickle:

I am a very helpful partner. I just think something else is up and she isn't coming clean. Going tomorrow morning whether she likes it or not.

Dang!!! Beener, what saves me some grief is taking the boys.

You gonna make the trip to SRO still? You better! My wife is bei g surprisingly cool with me going for the weekend. I'm not sure what gives... Maybe she has a boyfriend lined up.

Don't worry, I'll be gentle.

Heading out in the morning and I can't sleep. Not even tired and I even played 3 hours of ball tonight. Trying to decide which stand to hit...

Deer were on their feet tonight big time in my area.

Every night is a deer hunt for me...some nights I kill one, the other one I see a buck bounding off with an arrah flopping out of its side...lots of dreams.

I'd like to get out in the morning too, but I figure by the time I get home I will be too tired. Maybe I will go lounge in the blind and if I fall asleep, I fall asleep.

I was skirted this morning by this guy...

The winds started rocking and I got out. If the winds are as predicted tomorrow I am going to wait until next weekend.

Maybe in a bit. Got a call and going to do a bid or I would do it in the corn htting the grass waterways.

Problem with most of my hunting area it is SO flat that it isn't condusive to spot and stalk or slow hunting.

Wish it were...

It would in fact be a great weekend to be in a blind near a waterway along a cornfield with this blustery steady wind pattern we've got as long as you're downwind of travel corridors of course. Still hunting a standing cornfield as well.

I need to buy another blind. Sold mine a couple years back due to not liking how it set up. Need to get a new one. :smiley_cigar: New thread...

Needed to clear my head before hitting the hospital again so I went out until 9 this morning. Got to the farm at 5:20am and started to head back through our place to walk back the corn. Kept bumping deer every 20 or so yards so I turned around went completely back to the cabin. Went out the edge of the just cut bean field into the observation stand which is close to the house. Had one of the big bodied deer feeding in the bean field not more than 30 yards out for like 20 minutes but couldn't tell which one it was. So darn foggy that I couldn't see even with a bright moon.

Right after first light this guy was walking right toward me on a rope:

At about 60 yards he turned to jump in the fence row/bedding area that seperates the bean and corn field (about 40 yards wide).

Then this dude is my magnet. Last two times I hunted the stand about 1 miles away he I saw him. He has such good potential for a youngin...

Pulled my cams. ONe I forgot to turn on and the other had dead batteries. lol Good morning in the woods. Didn't stay long but now back at the hospital.
