Had several more trees down on field edges and across the trail in the big holla that needed cut up. I didn’t bring the Stihl so the Ryobi pole trimmer had to be my chainsaw again. I am more and more impressed by that saw than ever.

Exactly, well worth the investment. Cut those trees and several more on field edges that were smaller, made those into logs we can burn. Then used it to trim out a newly placed treestand all on the same battery. Still was going strong on the last things I used it on.

I’m glad the saw works great for you, that’s impressive. On the other hand that’s a big no for me. I will stick w my gas powered saws. Good luck this year, I’m looking forward to another epic story.

Yep, gas or battery, just get whatever you’ll be comfortable with. It’s a great tool too have when cleaning up stand sites or just around homestead….

Here’s the latest ladder stand Terry and I put up over the weekend. It’s on the N edge of our south end crop field and hopefully catches deer heading to and from the big holla. This year the field was in beans. Had hoped to have it up back in September but it got done when it got done. Wish I took a couple better pics but I think it blends in well.
