10/24/15- AM. First hunt of the season, hunted a funnel between bedding and feeding, good spot for a doe usually, jumped a few going in, wind was kind of crazy with this front blowing through. Didn't see anything on stand all morning. Off and on light rain and wind gusts but really a pretty darn nice morning. Little too warm and couple mosquitoes but good first hunt. Looking forward to getting after it now just about every day.

10/25/15- AM. Hunted a blind overlooking a swamp crossing. Didn't see a thing until 9:30 when I heard a crab apple drop on the ground up to the left and behind me, looked and there stood a yearling eating crab apples. Other than that and alot of ducks flying in and out nothing else. Pretty slow here right now. I did check a ladderstand on the same property and found some smoking hot sign over near it.

10/16/15- With this rain moving in the boys and I hung one last stand. I don't like to be hanging stands the last week of October but I needed another stand to hunt with a SE wind. I like to have at least 3 stands/blinds that are good for each wind direction. I've killed 2 bucks from this double maple in the past but it seemed to go cold and I haven't had a stand here since 2012. See what happens. When this rainy front ends Wednesday night it's gonna be balls to the walls hunting after that. I'm pumped!

Good stuff Kurtis! I love hunting old stand sights that produced over the years! During dead times I can relive the past hunts and have the confidence something nice came through at least once before.
