Any kind of long term solution I can put on barrel and inside to prevent any rust or anything. I have cva optima V2 SS

How do you store it? Safe, case, under your bed? They make all kinds of things to take the humidity out of storage areas. I suggest getting it out and playing with it more often.

Also, don’t forget to clean the firing pin assembly.

I use barrel butter for the inside, but one is the cva optima v2 SS barrels that we have got rust spots on the outside

Guess butter the whole thing. Low grade stainless if it rusts.

I'm a gambler. Up to last week I didn't clean my Marlin or Encore for a year. They're clean.

Gave it a good cleaning. Barrel inside is spotless. Used foaming blaster, barrel blaster patches, and dry patches until all came back clean. Cleaned firing pin and rubbed it down with Flitz. Should do it good.
