Blue Tongue (EHD) on the rise

Blue tongue hitting hard in my neck of the woods here in Northern KY. Found 4 dead over the weekend including a good 8 Point. I knew we was due for it especially after the mild winter we had. Anybody else seen or heard any cases of it this year?

That really sucks,has the weather been pretty dry in your area of Ky?
Had floods in my area here in Ohio last week, i like the rain this time of yr but not that much, hopefully it keeps our deer herd from suffering such a horrible disease.

Our place down there has had a lot of rain, plenty of moving water in the creeks compared to other years at this time. Hate to hear of your dilemma H13!

Yeah it has been pretty dry the past few weeks, just got a big rain today so hopefully it dampers it. Still finding deer dead, is their any verification that the rain helps keep the disease from increasing ?
