Mine didn't smell like cake! I hacked and yacked my head off in the process. Of course, my dead head was rancid and rotten when I started. It's not to bad on a freshly killed buck.

Looks great Chad! I'd use peroxide and water versus bleach and water cuz it's less harsh.

Use the 3% solution. Wallyworld had it in quart size bottles for a few bucks.

Dumped a quart of 3% in. Now we wait.

Excellent! It should turn out great! Give it two to 4 days and it should be great. Check for smell after it dries, if you notice an odor soak it till its gone.

I usually wrap the antlers in electrical tape so the dont get bleached in the water.
