I really like Jeff Gordon’s input in the booth. He adds a lot to the conversation and pretty well spot on. IMO

Spent the weekend at M.I.S. in the infield. Liver light was on by Saturday. Been a long time since staying in the infield. What a party.

Seems they had some gaps in them seats up there... Rumor had it they pulled some seats out from years past. I was there 04/05 maybe and they were packed...

They don't have nearly the seating that they use to have. The seating that was taken out was moved to smaller race tracks. Toledo speedway has a large section that use to be at M.i.s. Theres a lot more going on at the track now. Lot more to do. But a lot less people. At there peak M.I.S. had over 150,000 attending the Nascar races there. The weather didn't help attendance at all.
Was up at 0400 to head out fishing, got home at 1300 and grabbed a shower and headed to a retirement party for a friend. Got home @1930 and started watching it. Made it to the last few laps, next thing I remember was walking upstairs to bed at 2400....
I do remember Stenhouse taking out half the field in the first carnage episode and then doing it again the second time.... Was glad to see him get taken as well.... I believe he had the same results in the last Daytona race....
Congrats to Eric Jones on the win... That’ll shuffle up the playoff race some....

13 cars failed post qualifying inspection, Harvic had the pole with Kyle Busch second. They’re both at the back of the pack with Harvick being docked 10 drivers points...
Pocono should be interesting to see Jesse guys move up thru the pack....

Only 2 cars failed post qualifying inspect, Kurt Busch and Menard.... Denny Hamlin got the pole for Watkins Glen today at 3 on NBC....
