Recently had a great experience with Browning customer service about a pair of socks. Thought I would share it with y'all. In today's world exceptional customer service is lacking and companies such as these deserve recognition. Especially for products made in the USA.
Below are the email I sent and their replies. My first email was at 5:26pm yesterday. They promptly responded this morning at 8:36 am.

Subject: An issue with socks.
Hi,
I recently received a pair of browning socks as a Christmas gift. I
just recently opened the package and wore one of the pairs. They were
extremely comfortable and warm. I washed the socks in a modern
high-efficiency Front load washing machine without an agitator. And
followed the washing instructions. When I was folding laundry I
noticed that the ball of both socks was destroyed. The socks were only
worn for four hours with moderate walking. In the picture below I have
shown the socks next to the unused pair from the same package. I am
unsure if this may be a quality control issue but I would expect socks
such as these especially from such a prominent name as browning to
last a bit longer than one wear and wash. Anyway, I just wanted to
make you aware of this product issue thank you

issue and get it resolved. We take pride in the Browning line and the
fact that it is made in the USA!

Joe, I would like to apologize for the issues with the socks, we did have an
issue with the seaming on that style, which I think from the picture is
9067. Please accept our apology and look for a three pair package to arrive
shortly. Hopefully you will not have problems with them. Brad Koury
