FOR SALE BSA .22 LR for you target shooters.

For sale is a BSA Model 12 in .22 LR. The receiver was built in 1932-1939. It has a custom heavy target barrel. There are no markings as to who the barrel maker is.

The scope is a Unertl 12x Ultra Varmint. The take off barrel (which has been D&T years ago for scope bases) and fore end come with the rifle.

The red pad on the stock is from a Ruger No. 1. (?)

Shot it today with Eley Club, very impressive.

Yesterday I shot the BSA Model 6 with a Weaver T10 scope. I found the rear scope lens had a big "C" crack in it. I can't sell it like that. After I shot it I found it to be the most accurate rimfire I have ever fired, crack and all. I'm gonna buy it! I fell victim to "Don't hold the puppy" syndrome.

It is a nice piece that I would love to have but $1000 would be enough to take two off of my "buy soon" list. I am going to do a budget 10/22 build and need a new hunting shotgun. I am not at the point yet of buying specialized/unique firearms. Wish I was... Good luck Fred. Hell of a firearm!
