Buckeye Trees

Not really. Kids seems to like them, though. They are a dirty tree, meaning they drop their fruit and you have to mow over or around them. If you're considering planting them I would refrain.

There's one in my front yard :D We pick 'em up in the fall, dad drills them, and mom's kindergarten class makes necklaces.

As for deer, no clue.

I have yet to see any use for them in the woods. Deer won't eat them and I have never seen a squirrel, chipmunk or anything else for that matter ever eat them.
