Bucks looking promising!

Good call. I figured you would back off as the season got closer. Sometimes the temptation is sooooo hard to resist! lol

I have the same issue on my personal property. I have way too much work to get done to worry about the deer this year. I have a building to side at the rear of the property and currently there is a huge tree blocking access to the woods. I know I will be doing a lot of disturbing on my property this year but my main reason for purchase was NOT hunting. The building was my main purpose.

Nothing wrong with being pumped up AT. I hope to see you standing behind one of them this year! That would be sweet!

Thanks! the thing I have learned about being a small property owner is you need to watch your disturbance level. I try to not hunt hard in the mornings, and if I do I hunt within a hundred yards of the house. I have two stands deep in the woods, and I try to not enter those untill the afternoon. Morning for me mostly consist of watching a small plot or trail that is near the house.

What has amazed me at my farm is how I can run a saw all day, move trees, cut fire wood, and so on, and that night the deer are still on camera. However it is almost like deer kno when it is hunting season, once that temps change, and men are in the woods deer seem to not be as tolerant to extra noise and so on. Also probably because there bodies are under more stress cause they know winter is coming.

Just a few of my thoughts/theories!

sorry guys didnt realize I had posted in the wrong area! Still getting used to this site! My bad!

No problem I thought I would just help you out and move it to the forum where you will probably get more views this time of year.

After looking at these pics do you all think these are two or three diff bucks?

My buddies told me three, but I thought it was just two, I never like to get overly optimistic!

I know the pics do not serve as really great to age a deer, but do you all think these deer are 3.5 or better?

another angle of the middle buck. I think he his going to be number one on my hit list if he stays around.

sorry the picture is a bit blurry, but if you click on it you should be able to see that side of his rack.

damn I was hoping he was atleast 3.5. I will probably pass him if you all think he is that young, depending on what his headgear looks like come season.
