4/5 on sparrows yesterday. The one miss I shot like a shotgun instead of aiming.
One week review:
1. It shoots the Federal crimped shells and the CCI shotshells equally well as far as I can see.
2. The sparrow I thought I missed the other day didn't go far (found it laying in the yard), so I actually didn't miss.
3. It is deadly on chipmunks.
4. I was giving red squirrels a pass until I saw them going into my barn and up into the soffit.
5. So, it is deadly on red squirrels.
6. I am seeing a few starlings, but no shot opportunities.
Overall, I really like this gun, it is fun to shoot, and I would recommend it for taking care of yard pests.

One question that keeps running through my mind about this gun... At what distance is the threshold for damaging steel sheet siding and roofs? Say, I'm inside one of my barns, and I wanna shoot at a house sparrow on the inside... How far of a shot does it need to be in order to not visually damage, dent, or put holes in the steel?
We shot beer cans with my buddies Henry garden gun. Inside 20’ it was poking holes. Over 30’ it was just denting and rolling them.
I will have to test that out. I have some metal roofing around here.
UPDATE:
I am now in double figures on the red squirrels. I don’t know where they keep coming from? 2 more this morning and I know one of my neighbors down the street is shooting them TOO. Also Storm likes bringing them to me after I shoot them LOL

I did today! And it's one of the cooler Christmas gifts I've ever received.
The owner of the gun shop where I bought my Henry is married to our County Treasurer and since I run in "those circles", I see her fairly often. One day at Rotary, we were talking about guns (2 judges, the Auditor, Treasurer, and a prosecutor) and I mentioned buying this gun and not being able to find ammo. Well she didn't forget and was able to buy direct from CCI. She just stopped down to give this to me and it's definitely TOO cool!

Found me an old marlin, smooth bore, long barrel...how's the ammo gathering going on these?
Originally came with a clay thrower that mounted to the barrel. He doesn't have that anymore. Model 25?

Passing. Looks like they made a 22 mag in this shotgun application. I'm sure that would work much better than the 22 LR. But I'm not sure you'd find the ammo to go with it. These 22" barrels have to help with the pattern over the Henry.
