The both of you have done a fine job. If you teach them everything you know, they should be better than you. That's great teaching! A true mentor.
She actually did the hat thing on her own then I told her about Barry and showed her pics. He's here this weekend so she will get to meet him.

I asked Ron if he was going to be at Cloverdale so I could get his new book. Obviously he was not but told me he would be at Compton, which obviously I am not.

We had another great day! and shot the four courses again today along with spending some money

I didn't have any luck selling my Hoyt Satori. 
However, I did get to visit with Barry Wensel, Ron and Patty Rothhaar and I ran into a couple of guys that I shot with at the Tomahawk Archers course in Temperance, Michigan.
Of course, I got to talk with the guys at the 3 Rivers Archery booth and several others.
I was going to wait around for the "blanket auction", from 5 to 6, but I was advised against it. The resident peeps said it's more of a "hot deals" or near garage sale pricing area.

Was another fun day here. Started out with the kids Dutch Oven class where they made breakfast hash brown casserole. Which turned out delicious and Sydney is looking forward to making it for us on our next camping trip. Next at 11:30 was the kids 7-11 years old shoot. Where they shot at balloons,clay pigeons, playing cards, squeaky toys, CDs and dollar bills. If you hit a dollar you were rewarded with a dollar coin. Bought some limbs at the blanket trade and some more shafts and Sydney won her first hunting knife and a jewelry box in the bucket drawing. Waiting on dark as we are going to hit the flying target shoot under the lights.
As you can see Compton traditional bowhunters cares about the future of bowhunting and the young bowhunters of the future. This is a great organization to support and if you care about the future of bowhunting it's a shame if you don't. The 2026 rendezvous will be just NE of Indy in Noblesville Indiana. Get the kids and grandkids together and come have a great time in a great family environment.
