Bama QB has a bright future even if they lose. Kid is a fighter. Probably more evidence that OSU doesn't know how to pick a QB watching Ewers tonight. It's Burrow all over again.

Quinn Ewers = Joe Burrow ver. 2.0

Talk about the definition of an "embarrassment of riches" if your the Buckeyes. It appears we're 0-2 in selecting the best QB in the room because we could have had Quinn and currently have two guys that might be good enough to start for Central Michigan...

OSU lacks grit, tenacity and quickness on the OL in my opinion. Under Day we’ve started out of the gate slow every year. I think it’s coaching cuz I see much better disciplined teams and more enthusiasm on many other teams.
Coach Sark was an offensive guru under Carroll and Saban and I bet has learned a few things over those years about how to be a Head Coach. With a huge pool of talent in a big hot bed such as Texas he should shine and bring back the, “Hook ‘em” 🤟🏻to the UT program.
Day’s days(lol) are numbered if he doesn’t change the attitude of this team in a hurry and gets them playing to a much higher level.

I’ll add, If Nick Saban walked on to OSU’s campus with all those 3-5 star talent as a new HC there would be a reckoning. Those 3 stars would be playing like 4-5 stars pushing the elite to get more playing time raising every players game.

Ewers left because he wasn't going to see the field early in his time there over CJ Stroud. Remember, he transferred two years ago, not last off season. He was at Texas last year, too. He just missed a lot of time with injury. If he would have sat and waited, he'd be the starter now in Columbus, but that's not how college football seems to work these days. If they don't play a kid immediately, he hits the portal and leaves.

Stroud was nearly the number 1 pick in the draft, so I feel like Stroud starting was a decent decision.

I get all that and agree in large part. I mostly mean that in retrospect thinking of what could have been, not in the exact way it played out. We had one in the net we lost and it sure would be nice to have him back based on Saturday's body of work!
