It does suck that FSU could be out being undefeated. If they do bump Bama for 4th spot it would also be deserving.
Time to go to 8 team playoff to end this problem. Imagine the extra great matchups.

Even being undefeated, FSU won the worst conference of the Power 5. Yes, Texas has a loss, but it was to an in-conference team that turned out to be pretty good themselves, and OkSt would very likely beat the current version of FSU.

That's the right answer in my opinion as well. That said, if FSU gets in, there's no right answer for who is 4th IMO. You're screwing someone better than FSU no matter what.

That was week 2 Bama. Not the Bama that just bested the top team in the nation. Deserving, maybe, an argument could be made either way. Holding that against Bama today would set a pretty crappy precedence for not scheduling good teams early in the year. Just play it safe and schedule a cupcake. As for FSU. Yes, they won out, and on paper, they should be in. But I watched that FSU Louisville game last night. They're absolute garbage. It would be a complete waste of a spot and a gimmie game for Michigan. Hell, I bet 6-6 Auburn could beat FSU easily. In the words of the SEC commissioner last night talking about the ACC and SEC. "One of these things is not like the other" 5 of the top 15 are SEC. That's a while other mountain to go undefeated in than the ACC.
The same for Texas. Yes they won their conf title. But come on.

In Your Opinion Georgia was best team going into CC game but they struggled against Georgia Tech(a 6-6 team barely qualifying for a bowl game.. LMAO)last week so take that wk 2 team shit outta here.

FSU played one ranked team all season, which was LSU who went 6-2 in the SEC. Their ACC championship game last night against the next best team in the ACC was painful to watch. The talent level is nowhere near any of the teams that made the playoffs. Oftentimes when you watch a game you can tell if mistakes are happening because the defense is really good, or pulling off awesome plays because the offense just has it together. Both of those teams last night were complete shit shows. The offensive front 4 on both teams were atrocious. Like they didn't even have arms. There was no quarterback protection. Then the number of unpressured dropped and missed passes. Passes that hit him right in the hand or hit him right in the chest. Dropped. I think there was only a pair of field goals all the way to halftime. And it wasn't because the defenses were out there lights out. It was because both offenses were shit. Did they do what they were supposed to do, yeah absolutely. Would they get their shit kicked in by any team in the top 8. Yep. Does it suck for them and do they have a right to bitch, absolutely

And I still believe that Georgia is the more talented team. They were simply out-coached yesterday. Bama saw what gave GA fits in that Georgia Tech game and ratcheted it up. Georgia failed to learn from the last GT game. They showed up thinking they knew how Alabama was going to play and they were wrong. They probably spent the last week preparing to play Alabama, And did not spend any time trying to fix what went wrong with Georgia tech. So when Alabama came in and started using a lot of quarterback run options, and the exact same plays that Georgia tech burned them on, They were unprepared for that and unable to adjust.
But OSU lost to a top 5 team being a top 5 team themselves. Better not have them in this talk...also seems the Day haters are loving Sabin for the same shit? Dafaq happened in here today? Lmao. I should NOT have opened this thread before bed.

OSU lost to a team in their same division and as a result didn't get to play in their conference championship game. It's not the loss but the timing of it that killed OSU.
The same thing happened to Bama last year with their loss to LSU which kept them out of the SEC title game. No title game, no CFP. Bama finished the season at #5 because of it.
