College Football Thread

Let's see if their kicker can do it for them. Since I can't watch the Buckeye game, I'm watching this to the finish. Listening to the Buckeyes on the radio. I refuse to pay Peacock a dime. They screwed me the one time I subscribed. Took six months of calling to get them to quit billing my card. Plenty of other football on.

Does it look as sloppy and lackadaisical as it sounds on the radio? Sounds like they are getting the yards but not putting points up. Interception and penalties don't help. What am I missing on the visual?

They better wake up the second half…playing sloppy
Sayin playing scared or apprehensive like Kyle McCord did in his final year with OSU. He’s thrown to the check down receiver nearly every pass play especially on 3rd downs. He needs more swag like a leader emotes. He’s young though and just needs to progress and learn and hopefully gain more confidence.

I realize OU is better than Grambling and there is probably some intrastate emotion for OU. When a "number 1" team allows a 28pt underdog to stay in the game. . . You have to think OU is going to gain some confidence.

In other news: dang it Vols. You can't keep giving Georgia chances to win.

28-24 at halftime for Texas A&M vs ND.

Texas didn't exactly throttle the nobody they played.

Georgia Tech beating Clemson? Ouch. Gotta go, Dabo.

FL and LSU is a ball game in the 4th quarter.

UM throttled Central Michigan. Didn't hear if it was CM HS or college? (I shouldn't talk given the OSU/OU score.)

Sounds like early season football with teams trying to find themselves.

I'm still scratching my head as to why Tennessee ran so many plays rather than putting the kicker in. I realize you don't want to give any more time than necessary, but they screwed around until their pooch of a kick was a decent length field goal due to a penalty.

Now I'm sitting here wondering how many chances A&M is going to get from ND? It's like ND is trying to throw it away. Sorry Dustin. Not digging at your team. Just seems like this should have been put away already. Several times.

Wasn't my intention. When ND looked good, they looked good. Watching that reminded me what it was like to be a Browns fan.

Marcus Freeman's face the last minute of the game told the story. He looked completely frustrated. I don't remember who they lost to in week one, but this is not the start they wanted.
