Corn and beans are coming off !!

Just talked to one farmer last night that the corn belt is hurting cause of all the rain and the price is actually holding, so the farmers around here are making out pretty good with the corn coming off early. Thats good to hear to help out the farmers around here who have had a hard time the last couple of years.

Was out lastnight doin some road scoutin and around almost every piece of land I have permission for the corn fields were atleast opened up around them, should make for some pretty good bowhunting inside the smaller woodlots that we hunt up here. Usually we fight having to hunt 100's of acres of corn by sitting in a 50 acre woodlot, which the odds of being in the right spot when they come from the corn to the woods are not that great unless there is one beaten down trail. Should be interesting!!
