Uhm scheduled for my 2nd Pfizer shot in 2 1/2 weeks - very little reaction to first shot - gulp
I’m getting out the doghouse now. Had the same symptoms as you. Called into work this morning and told them I’m not working today. These second round vaccinations wasn’t any fun. I’m still not right, lightheaded and a little dizzy as my sinuses are lit up.Well that wasn't all that fun. Fever , chills, shivering all started shortly after midnight. Body ached, teeth hurt. Didn't sleep much. Starting to feel a little more normal now at the 25 hr mark. Can't imagine going through that for days and weeks.
Glad you feeling better - did you take anything to help with the reactionsI was back to feeling normal around dinnertime yesterday. So, roughly 32-34 hours post injection. Only remaining issue is are soreness.
No premedication. I did take Tylenol 1G around 6pm the first day. 400 mg Ibuprofen in the middle of the night. The next morning I did take 1 more dose of each, staggered between 8 and 10am. I haven't had anything else since.Glad you feeling better - did you take anything to help with the reactions
Got my first shot today...no soreness and no symptoms!!!!!
Seems like Moderna is the one causing all the issues, right?
Interesting take. This is how I understand it too. You WANT a reaction. You want to know your immune system is working. Seems a bit weird to me. 1-4 days sick from the vaccine. Potential side effects up to and including death from the vaccine. Or. . . Chance the virus. Might die. Might not know you have it. Might be somewhere in between. Not judging anyone. Make the choice that suits you. I'm holding off.
