I moved a cell setup on public last week where I found some fresh sign. It's a decent pinch with lots of tracks, fresh shit, and rubs. I've had some daylight active does.

And some decent nocturnal bastard buckdeer.

There's a bunch of deer and several bucks using that area. I'd love to get a snow soon so I could 100% pin down where they are bedding. I have my theories but at this point that's all they are. A move will be made soon.

Not taking chances, I got up there and pulled it. The way I figure, having it 8-9' up probably saved it today, but probably wouldn't have saved it tomorrow when he came back prepared.
