crops coming off

The last 2 weeks of rain has stalled bean harvest around here. Some corn is coming off but most guys are waiting for it to dry down a little more.

Drove back to Grove City this afternoon from Sandusky. The farmers are busy, busy, busy taking off the corn on my entire drive down.

My elevator is full. We tarped our 230,000 bushel ground pile today. Glad I was at home sleeping. This is the first time we've ever closed for grain. Problem is the railroad hasn't sent us any cars to ship out our soybeans so we have been moving them at night via truck to our largest facility, who does have a train to load
