Custom turkey strikers

Turned a 🐍 wood tonight for Nashville, and blood wood for a customer in Tennessee. Will post pics tomorrow, the finish is drying now.

Yes, the carbide roughing tool I have cut my time on turning a striker in half. I don't have any high end regular lathe tools, I would have to buy a sharpening jig if I did. Those jigs run around $100, each tool is at least $50 for a decent one. I can do everything that all those standard tools can do with the 3 carbide tools that this company makes. I found replacement tips on eBay, 3 for $20. I was working with a cheap ass harbor freight set of tools.
