Did you laminate them and is holly from the tree with red berries? I have never heard of anyone using holly
The contrast between the 2 woods really sets the call off.

Thanks! Yes the tree has berries, there's a few call makers using it for pots and box calls. It's expensive stuff, but not as expensive as the macassar ebony in the middle.

Gotcha, I was just wondering. How about a checker board pattern? Snakewood/ebonized curly maple 
Not doing it, snakewood is finicky shit. Too much heat and it cracks, plus I don't have the tools to cut it that thin. I'm also not following anyone, I've never seen a Mac ebony with a snake top or a snake with a cocobolo top[emoji41]
