Any idea how Osage Orange would turn out?

Thanks man! Osage orange is supposed to be easy to work with. I've heard it runs good on slate, glass, and aluminum.

I have no clue. I know guys carve striker handles out of antler but I've never heard of a one piece antler striker. Getting it to stay between centers would be a bitch since there wouldn't be anything to bite on.
