I think his point does not have anything to do with the pilots or ATC personnel working that night. But rather DEI initiatives got in the way of hiring qualified ATC personnel, therefore causing the ATC staffing shortage. Sounds like there are very qualified ‘white men’ who want the job, but can’t get hired due to DEI initiatives and racial/sex staffing quotas. Pretty sure that is his point. But the mainstream media will spin it that he is blaming any female or minority involved in the incident.

Agreed. The main point is the focus was on the wrong thing, which should be hiring competent staff and maintaining the utmost safety regardless of race, creed or gender.

What doesn't make sense to me is this was basically a straight on crash. Both aircraft turned slightly into eachother before impact. Blackhawks have colission avoidance and detection systems and radar that can track SAMs going Mach 4. They also have the a ility to maneuver quite nimbly. Yet there were no warnings in the cockpit? No evasive manuever? Disregard the visual aspect of a big ass CRJ plane with gear down and landing lights on.

Exactly and why Trump needs to be more specific like saying that DEI policies have caused staffing shortages in the control tower which led to only 1 controller doing the work of 2 or more which “might” have been a contributing factor.
WTH are they flying training runs so close to the very active runway in the first place anyway?🤷🏻‍♂️
I heard there have been around a thousand near misses or close calls over the past couple years or so and that’s VERY unsettling to say the least! I hope this administration can get to the bottom of it.
