When walking the edge of a cornfield checking cams the other day I noticed deer were eating this weed like crazy. Wasn't a single one where the deer hadn't browsed the tops of it. Anyone know what it is?

Agreed. Hence the stamen not being correct. But the leaves are very similar, as is the stalk. I tried located similar species, but nothing jumped out. The waterhemp photos show a longer, skinnier leaf than what Joe took pics of. Probably multiple species there too.

Thanks fellas. The watwrhemp looks close bit not quite it, probably in the same family. I looked up gly resistant plans in Ohio and only three were listed. Two species of ragweed and one horseweed. None of them looked close. I'll reach out to the OSU weed lab today if I can find an email.

There's a few apps you can download that allows you to take a photo(s) of the plant and it will help you identify it. Obviously it's not perfect but it might tell ya what it is. I've used it a few times, pretty neat.
