I'll keep track again next weekend. I'm sure it'll change along with the crowd. This weekend was pretty family oriented, next weekend will be the party crowd. All the guys outworking their half tons to say it'll pull the camper just fine...I'm guessing it'll be the usual "tough" guys in F150's flaunting their shit, that takes the lead.

Yes, I realize you are an F150 driver. Maybe you fit this mold, maybe you don't? Lol. I drive a Dodge and HATE most Dodge drivers for some of the same reasons. (Mirrors flipped up and stacked tunes made for rollin coal...flat bill hat and sideways stickers. Hauling skateboards and fat girls on daddy's dime)

This is one of my favorite things to do on day 1 at the campgrounds. I like to setup early then crack a beer and watch everyone else come in and setup. Always that one guy that is dragging a 25'+ camper with a blazer or a mini van with the bumper dragging the ground.

Same thing at the boat docks. One day at Alum my Dad and I backed in at least 10 rigs.

Yeah, those guys. This is the reason I generally roll in Thursday and get my spot, then leave late Sunday. Get to watch them all hungover trying to pack up. They usually leave firewood TOO!

Yep we do the same, I like booking Thursday and then if work allows stay Sunday night. Sunday is usually quiet and relaxing once everyone leave and then there is no line at the dump station.

I grow very impatient waiting on someone backing in...it really isn't that hard. Yes, you look like an idiot and everyone is watching. Maybe let your wife try, surely she can't do any worse! And you shouldn't be getting mad at her...her pointing or standing where you can't see her isn't making a difference.

This should be in the pet peeve thread. Watching then back in I can tolerate. It is the undersized vehicle towing way outside the limits of safety that get me fired up. Front tires barely touching, no antisway hitch because saving $350 is more important than their family's safety. Aaarrgh. Hate it.

Who are these people dropping $72k on a truck? I'll keep my 2006. Bought in 2011 for $25k. Still worth $20-25k after I owned it 6 years and put another 50k miles on it. Maybe I'm dumb for keeping it. Should sell it right now and recoup most of my money to buy one 5-6yrs newer. Nah. It's paid off. I'll drive it another 5-10yrs and sell it for $12-15k. lol

I think your truck is worth more now then when you bought it. That's all.

Non-diesel people don't understand the money a 5.9 brings. The 7.3 brings bing money, but nothing compares to the 5.9.

So you've got a motor that can run for a shit ton of miles, still wrapped around the same truck that every gas motors got...

Vinyl seats. Rubber floors. AC. No power windows, locks, mirrors. Mine won't bring as strong of money. Nonetheless, I see it doing $20k plus. Just not $25+.

Lower mile 7.3 does bring solid money too. I have seen it over and over. People love them. A low mile Excursion with the 7.3 is gold.
