Do you remember when...

To be fair, modern farm equipment doesn't seem to leave as much in the field either. More efficient. You are correct though. Corn piles don't help any.

Do u remember when deer werent scouted at night and early morning hours with thermals and irs? This is not directed toward denny as those deer have places to hide.

Agree with all, just the old hunting ground has changed, even an attempt to change my strategy last couple years but not having any authority to manage the ground to make it better. Deer go else where (surrounding properties) in last four years there have been two 190's shot with in half mile of farm. I personally refuse to bait!

Sounds like a great problem. Most properties do not have the genetics or ability to grow 190" deer. Or 170" deer very often. Or even 150-160" deer in many areas. I hope you figure out something. Good luck!

I too remember when you used to be able to have to "hunt". Now it seems you have to have endless supply of food.

Our woodlots have also changed.

Fence rows are a thing of the past in most areas also.

Times have changed and so has the game. Not many people even believe you can hunt without camouflage. Lol
